Matching the color has always been difficult and to make the thread look thick enough I had to thread the machine with double thread. This is the right thickness, goes through the machine smoothly and the selection of colors should work with most items I get in. The one color that isn’t in either grouping is “Levi gold” but there is a greenish gold in the lighter group that works. I just altered the waist of two pairs, one with the gold and one mauve. Photo attached. Left of the belt loop is the altered seam and right is original. It immediately begins unraveling off the bobbing after being wound.
