These long arm templates are based on arcs of a circle. Each template comes with a brown paper backer which can be seen in the pictures. This backer prevents damage during shipping and should be removed before use. It can easily be removed with your nail. The paper backer may have scorch marks from manufacturing, but the template will not be damaged. Cutting mat not included.
