Great strings for E9 tuning on the lap steel. Nice tone as the GHS brand is known for (and my lap is identical to the one on the cover!). Perfect if you want to emulate pedal steel

Excellent for Open E tuning on my Lap Steel
These strings give a nice tension and a thick tone on my cheap Lap Steel. I'm tuned to an Open E and they work really well.

Ok but not the best
The top 2 strings sound great. All the others are a bit dull sounding especially the wound G. In my opinion these strings are too stiff. I found regular electric guitar strings, 13 to 56 are better.

Ho preso queste corde per montarle sulla lap steel che mi sono costruito, e sono andato sul sicuro perché uso questo marchio da anni sulle mie chitarre. Anche questa volta mi sto trovando molto bene, corde dal suono molto bello ed equilibrato, bassi corposi ed acuti brillanti, il tutto in un drop equilibratissimo. Corde confezionate singolarmente come sempre usa ghs Tanti lamentano la durata breve delle corde di questo marchio, ma posso assicurarvi che se pulite dopo aver suonato durano più di altre costruite per durare, e come suono non ci sono paragoni. Il tutto a meno di 10€, e le cordiera da lapsteel costano anche tre volte tanto. Sento di consigliare l'acquisto e rimango in attesa anche degli altri drop.

On my very first DIY lap steel guitar they give very warm tone. I lowered the strings to open D tuning. I liked that the company sent a personal message. Highly recommended!
