Sturdy - I wear 12 wide. Typically Skectchers fit just right. I ordered these in size 13 (48 EU) and thet are an excellent fit. Snug without being tight. The ATOP lace system works, but took some wiggling to cinch up tight enough. All in all, best boots I've bought in 20ish years of riding.
