Have gone through several tubs of the stuff and really like the convenience of it. I've used it to adhere old silverplate, a horseshoe...large China pieces and recently, a decorative clay tile. My first was done last year and I carefully used mortar over the thin set, then sprayed with a mortar sealer. So far, it has lasted through one Ohio winter! **Q: Can this be used on shower floor?** A: No. This product is not recommended for areas with standing water. This product is not really mortar, it's mastic with sand added. You need real mortar for a shower floor, which does not come pre-mixed. **Q: Is this good for tuckpointing an old brick chimney?** A: I wouldn't.
