I'm very glad I did. I have no problem with the remote control. It's an infared remote, it has to have a direct line of sight, and I am about 10-12 feet away and have no issues. I really like the different LED color options and the option to brighten or dim the LED's remotely. Installation was easy and I have a 60" flatscreen and had to trim off the LED strip so I was very pleased there was more than enough light. I thought the price was a little high when I bought it but now see how well worth it they are. It really does reduce eye strain with the backlight while watching a TV show or movie. ### ⭐⭐ Works well. Customer service is poor. *by F***E on February 27, 2015* The product works well overall. I like the different colors and the remote is nice. Installation was actually a breeze and the lights were working in no time.Why then am I giving a 2 star review? The issue I had was that one of the individual strands of LED lights did not work at all. After spending about 30 minutes putting the lights together, measuring the proper lengths, attaching the lights to the back of the TV, and routing wires alongside the rear of the TV so as not to be visible while watching, I noticed that one of the strands was not lighting up. I pulled the TV from the wall and removed that section of the lights. The connector was detached. There was no way to repair these myself.I filed for a return with Amazon and made a note that I did not actually want to return the entire setup. That would have entailed removing everything from the rear of the TV and repackaging everything. Sort of pointless. I requested that the company send me 1 strand of lights only. This would have been a very practical solution and easily resolved. No response from the company or Amazon ever. Hence, 2 star review. I rarely leave negative reviews. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Their customer service was great. Unfortunately *by D***. on June 11, 2015* The first one I received was defective. After contacting the company they sent me a new one. Their customer service was great. Unfortunately, the second one didn't work quite right. All the LEDs and light patterns and colors worked fine but the range of the remote is about one foot. So even though it works, you have to be standing at the tv to use it. I contacted customer service again and have not heard from them after a week.
