Like others mention, there is no volume control on the subwoofer itself. It's also smaller than you would expect -- the pictures don't give any dimensions or comparison with other objects, so I was surprised by how small the whole thing was, based on my experience with other Logitech products. The one thing I dislike about this unit is the main volume knob on the control pod, which a roller wheel, so you have no reference to a "position" -- whether it's at min or max -- by looking at it. All you see is the edge of the wheel.
