Works great. Had a flexible phone holder, the phone holder part broke, this works great with it!

This device is really good at holding a phone in almost any position, but it opens on each end making it just a little bit more difficult to get the phone into it. I am currently using an old Samsung S7 in this holder. Once you have gotten it into the clamps it stays put. Because of this design, repeated mounting and dismounting of the phone can become a little frustrating. Neither clamp opens far enough to allow the phone to slip in easily. So, once you have one of them at its maximum length, you have to push up on the other to gain enough space for the phone to pop in. The ball mount on the back fits well and tightens down really well. It's a great phone mount for the money but it is a bit fiddly to use until you get used to it. I just leave my old phone mounted all of the time now.

Perfect fit on a Wrangler rugged ridge phone holder. Way better than paying the ridiculous cost of a replacement from rugged ridge!!!!

This does the job of holding my phone to use the navigation app, but it's a tight fit. It's a little difficult to spread the sides to affix them to my phone. But it goes onto the ball joint easily so I can set it on the dashboard.

Item worked well for my use. No issues.
