**Q: Is it a first retail edition? Cause I buy the spin master edition which is poor painting and quality**
A: This is not the original.  I too was unhappy that the picture they posted of the game shows the original one but you receive the spin master edition instead.

**Q: Is this the game with golden fleece or not? I am confused.**

No this is just Santorini the board game. Golden Fleece is an expansion.

**Q: So this is the version with the ocean tile?**
A: The Roxley exclusive license has the ocean tile. The Spinmaster and Roxley version is the cheaper version that does not contain the tile and is made of cheaper materials.

**Q: is this roxley version（include ocean base？）**
A: If by ocean base you mean cliff pedestal and tile plateau, then the answer is yes.

Firstly the negatives - the copy being sold here is the cheaper spin master version and the English rules are on a low quality black and white photocopy. Now the positives - the game is an excellent abstract strategy that’s easy to learn but has a lot of depth. I’ve taught my 6 yr old to play it (and have been beaten several times too) but it’s just as at home in my game group of board game loving adults.

It's a pretty game, but if you can't cope with tough head-to-head abstract strategy games, don't think the prettiness and the god power cards are going to make it any better for you. I sold mine.
