Dish soap with no plastic container or harsh chemicals
Love this dish soap, I buy the lavender scented. No harsh chemicals and it comes in a cardboard carton and is totally recyclable & doesn’t fall apart or get mushy. The carton doesn’t fall apart and the scent is gentle not overpowering. It makes a nice foam and cleans dishes perfectly. I will be trying the rest of the clean cult products which aren’t overly expensive and have a complete list of ingredients that don’t have harsh chemicals.

non-toxic, clean, WITH a catch
would be nice if it contained aloe, but nice that it has essential oils!very clean and nontoxic soap, which is very important to us. does not leave residue. can be used on glass and cleans well without smears.good size, can get two full refills. is gentle, does not damage dishes. it doesnt foam which we like.the scent is subtle and not overpowering, but has a nice lemon smell (at least for the lemon verbena)very nice that its so cheap and you can reuse by refilling dispensers instead of buying plastic stuff! definitely recommend if you want to help the environment, and this is cheaper and better too

Fantastic dish soap!
Great dish soap! It cleans dishes beautifully, it smells great , and I love that it comes in a compostable cardboard container. Less plastic for the landfill!

Great dish soap/packaging
The soap is lemon scented by natural oils so it is not overpowering or toxic. The quart sized carton is easy to pour from and to close for the next use. It smells good, rinses clean, doesn't congeal, washes dishes well & is cost effective.

Cleans well, good value, paper packaging great. Scent: Overwhelming
I bought this for the paper (cardboard) packaging, which is great, but it turns out it also suds up well, and I'm not noticing any trouble cutting grease as some other reviews mentioned, and it seems to go a long way, and so it's one of the better values, but....the scent is crazy strong.Way too strong, and it's the same with both of the two scents I bought, the Mandarin and the Eucalyptus, so I'm guessing they would all be the same (saw a good review for the lemon scent, maybe that's more subtle). Says they're from essential oils, but they're cloyingly, gaggingly perfumey, I'm afraid. If you want to try this (the packaging is good), and are sensitive to fragrances, then you'll need to get the odorless version. Even for anyone else, I'd get one with scent and one odorless and mix them together, or get the odorless and add your own scent. If they fix the fragrance, then this will be an unreserved winner.

Great scent, super packaging
I love the scent of this dish soap! It works on my dishes, and is gentle on hands. The refill fills my dispenser multiple times. I love that the refill is in a paper container and reduces my plastic footprint, all at a fair price. I wish they made more things in this scent!

So fresh, so clean... but maybe not your best option for grease
I’ve now tried two scents of this dish soap and loved them both—like, genuinely enjoyed doing the dishes level of love (which, let’s be honest, is not a thing I say often). The scents are clean and pleasant without being over-the-top or perfumey. Just enough to make your kitchen feel a little fancy while you tackle that never-ending pile of sippy cups and snack plates.Cleaning power? For your average cereal bowls, smoothie cups, and rogue sippy cups hiding under the couch (just me?), this stuff is golden. It gets the job done and leaves everything squeaky without nuking your hands. And the eco-friendly refill carton? Love it. We’re saving the planet and smelling nice while doing it.But let’s keep it real. If you’re scrubbing a lasagna dish that’s been “soaking” (read: abandoned) for 24 hours, this soap might not be your MVP. It doesn’t quite crush grease the way the big chemical guys do. Still, I’d rather add a second squirt than have my hands smell like burnt lemon factory chemicals.Pros:• Delish scents that make dish duty tolerable—even joyful??• Gentle on hands (no more post-wash lizard skin!)• Plant-based, no plastic drama – refill cartons for the win• Cleans well for 90% of daily dish tasksCons:• Needs backup for grease bombs (I see you, bacon skillet)• Refill carton can be messy if you’re not careful—or if you’re me• No cute branded container to pour it into—I want chic, sustainable countertop vibes!Final Verdict:This soap is the eco-conscious bestie your sink’s been waiting for. It’s not perfect, but it is delightful, responsible, and makes your kitchen smell like a lifestyle influencer’s dream. If they come out with a refillable container that’s as pretty as it is practical? I’ll be throwing money at my screen.

Not Non-Toxic...Low-Tox Maybe
This contains synthetic ingredients and preservatives that are known to be "toxic". Maybe considered "low-toxic" - a good in-between of non-toxic and toxic. Laureth-7 is not a non-toxic ingrident and neither are methylisothiazzolinone and benzizothiazolione. Those are artifical, and considered toxic preservatives if you look up their data. So if you want low tox or just a regular dish soap that has a few "natural" ingredients thrown in, this is just fine. However if you want a true 100% non-toxic - this isn't it! So depending on your wants/preferences it could be a great soap or a bad soap! For me, I'm ok using it for now until it's gone (I'm more for low-toxic than non- toxic) but since these chemicals are in contract with my skin so much in hot water, I do like my dish soap to at least be considered safe or non-toxic. Did it work well? Yes! Got my butter dish clean with no extra effort. Did it smell good? Yes! I enjoy a good smell as I do my dishes and this delivered well on a pleasant smell.
