This is a custom built replacement remote made by Redi Remote for the TOYOTA remote control number 8617045070. *This is NOT an original Toyota remote control. It is a custom replacement remote made by Redi-Remote* This remote control is specifically designed to be compatible with the following model years of TOYOTA Sienna, Highlander or Sequoia DVD systems: 2011, 2012, 2013 *If you have any concerns with the remote after purchase, please contact me directly* There is a cover over the lower half of the remote. This will slide down to reveal the lower half buttons.

Review: Seller is outstanding (and remote works great too (2011 Sienna))! :-) - Remote works great in our 2011 Sienna (and sure beats the pants off of spending $300 with the dealer)! I have to say, we have had the remote for a while now and there is a little plastic cover on the lower buttons that protects the sticker identifying the buttons. My daughter lost the plastic cover and the sticker eventually curled up inside there. This seller is outstanding! Why? They replaced the sticker and plastic cover super fast with out any hassle at all! Such a cool deal, I was trying to figure out how I was going to scan the current sticker, print a new one, cut all the little button holes out and have a Frankenstien remote in the end but now it is good as new! Kudo's to this seller for sure. I might try to put just the tiniest amount of JB Weld on the ends of the plastic cover to help retain it in the future but we'll see. :-)
Review: Worked after some fiddling. - Got this to work for our 2012 sienna. There isn't a lot of information about how to get it to pair with the dvs player. My husband says he had the front dvd player on, though the screen wouldn't turn in, hence why we needed the remote. He pressed abs held the power button on the remote for 15 seconds. Then he pressed and held power and input together for 15 seconds. Then he held the dvs button on the remote for 15 seconds. All of this was while pointing the remote at the laser receiver on the front dash. He isn't sure which one worked, but, after all that, he tried the power button on the remote and the screen turned on. Hopefully that will help someone. A little more instruction with the package would have been nice.

A: Ah I forgot exactly but the instructions come with the product. As far as I remember the buttons in the middle panel with light gray background worked right away in my Sienna 2013 without any extra configuration.

A: No, not at all. It is for the factory Toyota entertainment system.

Works great. Buttons are labeled poorly. Stupid expensive just to hit play on my kids DVD but Hundreds cheaper than Toyotas oem version.
