Nice butane torch. Heats up quickly and is built solidly. We have been using ours daily for quite awhile. Easy to operate and easy to refill.

This is an edited review. I have purchased two of these, and loved their strong flame output. I use them for metal annealing. The flame output allows me efficient heating on small jewelry designs. I had originally left a 3 star review because I love the strength of the flame and the design in general, but the issues I experienced were a bit frustrating. The first one was an old design that I've been told has since been improved upon. It lasted 7ish months of daily use until the knob broke. The second one was also an older design that was defective out of the box. It had a leak. After mentioning this in my review, the company promptly reached out and offered to send me the new and improved version of this torch, no questions asked. I received it, and I have tested it. I can say with 100% certainty that I love it. The knob feels stronger and much more durable, and there is no issues with leaking. The flame is strong and consistent. I'm very happy to continue using this torch and will purchase again from this company in the future. They really stand by their product and as a fellow business owner, I admire their integrity and commitment to improvement. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

The push-button ignition failed in the first 30 minutes of use. It will no longer produce a spark. Unfortunately this item is NOT RETURNABLE. I would like to contact the seller but I'm having trouble locating contact info. Maybe this is just a defective item. If I could return it for a replacement I would give it another chance but looks like I am stuck. UPDATE: I contact RAVS support and they promptly sent me a new torch and refunded my original payment. The process was easy and hassle-free. I didn't even have to return the defective item. Many of these torches you find on the market at liquor stores or gift shops have a narrow sharp flame that is too hot and concentrated for my purposes This Copper Butane Torch has a nice wide, "soft" flame. It is forceful but the heat is distributed over a fairly wide area and it does not instantly scorch my snacks.

This thing works great. I use it to start my wood stove. I bought it to replace my Bernzomatic mini torch, which has multiple safety switches on it. I'm getting old and the small safety switch on the Berz torch was hard to operate. This torch has no safety switches, so you simply open the gas control valve, and press the ignitor button. Large flame, 4 to 5 inches , like a propane torch, or you can adjust it down to a small flame. Now having said all that....when you turn it off by closing the gas control valve, you MUST make sure that there isn't a small flame still burning from not turning the gas valve off completely.....always look at the end of the torch and blow it out...this thing sat there for 2 or 3 minutes, still lit and started catching some plastic on fire in my living room. Luckily I was there to smell the plastic burning smell....and keep my house from burning down. I still love it, and bought another one.
