API Quick Start Nitrifying Bacteria for Freshwater and Saltwater Aquariums, 30 ml Bottle

Superb product. API is one of my resources for many of my aquarium essentials. Never had any problem with any of there items. Great value for money, with many products giving you size options for what you need. All products from medicated to water parameters and plant care. These products are made with an ease of understanding for what that purpose is and will help you on your fish keeping journey.

Friendly bacteria in a bottle. I used it to help mature my new filter with the current one and it's ideal for setting up a new aquarium. I choose to use it with water changes alongside other API products. This is a decent product and I recommend it to anyone that keeps fish.

Working well. My go to when starting a new tank.

The mixed reviews and its claims have made me worried about using this. However I put a half measure in. I found in some fish products you can have Armageddon so if in doubt don’t use it or use smaller measurements. I have no fish in the tank yet and I’ve been doing test strips. Fish in two weeks and water checks coming to satisfactory so must play some part. I usually use cycle but water tests for both have been good.

Got this as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive axolotyl versions and it has been great. Like people have said it is quite small but it is also perfect as you only add a couple of drops each time.

Its good to rapidly reduce ammonia

I was aware of the amount because I did read the description but it was still a little disappointing, haha. That’s just me. Good product though.

Highly effective Improves water quality by maintaining bacterial colonies Easy to use... Rather than other products. Must to stepup a new tank.. also it is good to add once in month so replenish the bacterial colonies
