Although she has been learning for 3 terms she has done very little formal grammar learning but she is able to use these cards easily to make sentences of 5 or 6 words in length. You can follow the suggested game play or make you own rules. Although these cards are not pictorial, the recipient loves to play with them and she has spent many hours practicing amusing sentence construction then reading and translating the fruits of her labour. Each card has a colour coded clue to aid construction of sentence if you run into difficulty. For such a simple premise, these games allow a huge amount of learning in a wonderfully fun way.
