So I wanted to get this Dell Thunderbolt™ Dock – WD22TB4, even though it was more expensive. It is, simply put, a very robust docking station, especially with USB-C ports. It seems like hardware is moving away from USB-A and towards USB-C. This doc has two USB-C Thunderbolt (powered) ports, one USB-C non-powered port, and one USB-C display port.While I haven't checked every port out, I have hooked my big monitor into the USB-C display port, I could get rid of my laptop power supply and cord since I plugged this doc right into one of my laptop's two USB-C ports (which powers the laptop). I have an ethernet cable from my router which plugs into the Ethernet RJ45 port. I have several USB-A devices plugged into the dock.
