SINGER 01511 Survival Sew Kit

Exactly what I expected. While not the highest quality there is (i.e. the scissors couldn't cut anything but string or paper), this set does the job well enough. I wouldn't carry it as such on trips as it is not the smallest of sets, but to have it at home proved useful on numerous occasions up to date.

A must for a bride on her wedding day! Trust me just get out and add it to your wedding bag. Someone, including the bride will need these. Great value good money!

Good kit‼️ But, it is a kit, that is best used for light or delicate work. Needles will break with any heavy duty repairs. Summary should specify ‘light duty’.

The pictures are misleading! I was looking for a sewing kit that I can throw in my purse and backpack on the go for emergencies, but this kit is huge! For at home, yes. It’s ideal to have at home. But now the hunt continues to find something small for on the go that is actually compact that I can fit in my bag! Great kit though.

This sewing kit has everything you need for a repair. It's all packed into a compact case so it can go anywhere. I sewed for the first time in my life and it worked great!! I highly recommend!!

The kit had everything needed. It is a good size. The only issue is the case will not click closed. It was wrapped in plastic when it arrived so it’s a defect in the quality of the case. We didn’t get to choose the color of the case but we got the blue and that was ok. The kit had everything as described. Everything was easy to use. The scissors are decent and worked fine. I did like the look of the case and it’s a good value and if it worked properly I would have given this 5 stars.

I bought this and the jean patches from singer to repair some minor holes in my jeans. I know very little about sewing or what to do with this supplies, but with help from Youtube, I was able to repair them! It was pretty easy once I got the hang of it, but I wish it came with a small instruction manual on basic stitching, threading the needle, tying it off when done, etc.

I got this for my emergency bug-out-bag. It is small and lightweight. You could probably find all the stuff in there cheaper, or build your own sewing kit for cheaper, but I'm not a seamstress. I didn't have any of this stuff, so it's nice to get it pre-packaged.

It's alright but being from singer I was expecting a higher quality. It's basically the same as all the Chinese versions. Useful, but simple

Not the best quality, but for the price is does a fairly job and has the basic you would need. And this comes from someone that just learned to sew ;)

O kit tem um pouquinho de tudo com itens de muito boa qualidade em comparação de outros kits que já adquiri como tesoura "flexivel" que não corta, poucas agulhas, ausência do dedal, fica métrica e guia de linha para inserir na agulha de pouca qualidade danificando no primeiro uso. Confiei na marca, Singer, pelo passado que conheci e recomendo o kit com toda certeza. Para saber do conteúdo do kit consulte no site.

Don’t know if it’s the best size kit for survival but if your looking for a a good sewing kit this should do the job.
