It is also claims to be human grade so I'm not sure if it's labeling had to be held to a higher standard. I checked my pantry for human bone broth and the ingredients in the Pacifica brand just lists beef broth too and no mention of beef marrow bone. I've been adding a little bone broth to the dry food I give both my dogs -- enough to just provide some moisture. They love it. I also am conservative in the amount of snacks I give them, and we get out and walk for exercise.
