I didn't need it to be thin, but it worked great for my application.I'm giving this 5 stars as it did what it needed, but two minor nitpicks. The way the reel is rolled up in the package is inconvenient. They took the whole roll, folded it in half and then rolled it so both ends could stick out at the end. This looks pretty in the package, but was difficult to unroll. You need to completely unroll the entire 50 foot length first, before trying to use it, otherwise it will tangle, badly.Second, the included staple-clips, are just regular staple-clips for regular Ethernet, and are not the right shape for this flat cable.
