How many cfm’s do I need for max thickness?** A: The specifications say a minimum 0f 1.6 CFM. I would go as large as you could afford. **Q: This current third generation, does it have the power cord issue resolved yet ?** A: Mine has had no issues of any sort . **Q: Are the new units going back to the 220 cord with a 110 adaptor?** A: I bought one in May and returned it because it was 110v with a 220v adaptor. I contacted them and they appeared to say, in broken English, that more 2nd gen would be available in June, which I assume will be the preferred power cord configuration. I have not used better.Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great plasma cutter - but comes with an American plug. *by P***S on 1 January 2024* Functionally, I really can't fault this plasma cutter. It has pilot arc start with a proper AG60 torch protected by a finger guard (ESSENTIAL with a pilot arc device). Beautiful, bright, clear display, and integrated air dryer.It's cut through 13mm steel with ease (unless of course you're on the namby-pamby 115V that is all most USA customers have). It's only fault for the European market is it comes with an American 240V plug (and an adapter for 115V). You could of course search out a USA-UK 24V adapter, but I just cut it off in disgust & replaced it with a rubber UK-style plug that should've been put on it before it was shipped to the UK.I also had to replace the air input connector as it didn't match the euro-style one on my compressor but that was expected (and they even supplied the PTFE tape needed).Great plasma cutter, top-notch performance, shame about not being able to plug it into the mains.They should provide a USA-UK adapter instead of the 240-115 USA adapter when selling to the UK - European customers will face similar issues. ### ⭐ Sent out American plug *by A***R on 20 January 2024* Don't buy for use in the uk.
