Can the wires be extended to put power supply in cabinet? I don't have the ceiling height.** A: For a van, you likely wouldn't use the junction box. It's designed to take 120 volts from a household line and convert it to a lower voltage used by LED's (usually 12 volts) I'm not positive if the LED's themselves use 12v specifically, but for vans and RV's you usually wire low voltage lights directly to the vehicle wiring from the house battery, since that's 12v. You could probably test just wiring the lights directly in that case and avoid using the junction boxes altogether. I can't guarantee that will work, since that's assuming the KED's themselves are in fact 12v. **Q: Thos it coms with switch?** A: No they do not come with a switch. **Q: Do you need a specific dimmer switch or will any switch work?** A: Any switch will work **Q: I am in newzealand voltage is 220V to 240V will this work??** A: Hello, No, it is only work in 120V. The first function is the primary down-light, which is plenty bright and is dimmable. Switch off then on again, you get the much warmer light just around the ring of the light that is more indirect (and dimmable). We've had fun playing with the different settings, and no matter if it's early morning, late night, or mid-day we can always find the right combination of light output and light color. (FYI, the ring light is really only good for use when it's dark outside).I'm in love with the ring light specifically, as it makes my living room look like a fancy movie theater.
