Can the wires be extended to put power supply in cabinet? I don't have the ceiling height.** A: For a van, you likely wouldn't use the junction box. It's designed to take 120 volts from a household line and convert it to a lower voltage used by LED's (usually 12 volts) I'm not positive if the LED's themselves use 12v specifically, but for vans and RV's you usually wire low voltage lights directly to the vehicle wiring from the house battery, since that's 12v. You could probably test just wiring the lights directly in that case and avoid using the junction boxes altogether. I love that you can configure the color temperature and that they are dimmable. Especially considering how bright they are... But I love the halo effect. The installation was pretty easy once I figured out the light cans that were already in my ceiling. It ended up taking me about 15 minutes per light to replace. The installation was simple and they give you everything you could need.
