Included with the bed are the desk, the drawers and the shelves (under the end of the bed in the picture). These were all included when buying the bed, so nothing needed to be bought separately. It's nice too and has a good bit of storage. **Q: Can you have it assembled professionally** A: I don't think Amazon will arrange to have it assembled, but a reasonably competent diyer could put this together. You should have it built with in a day (4-6 hours depending on your DIY skills) expect to use loads of bolts and I mean loads! It really is a flat pack!
