A: Yes

**Q: Is this a good roller for very smooth finish using semi-gloss paint on doors and cabinets?**
A: I havn't used them for such, but works great with high gloss paints on boats. Try for 2-3 very thin coats of paint to avoid runs and drips.

**Q: what kind of roller does take? 4 wire cage?**
A: Not a cage, it's a shaft (I think 1/4") like a Whizz roller.
