The pump is a really good one and pumps out quick, i empty my bilge every other day (long story why) but i just use an old cheap car/leisure battery and have not charged it since last August 2018. They come in standard lengths so specify what you need in length. Cheapest to buy the kits. if you have a problem sourcing one then try a ship's chandlers as most of them will have them but they will be more expensive than from an online auction site. Try searching for a '1 1/8" id hose kit' as boating products are usually specified in inches for the US market.
