I also use it to breakdown the Amazon boxes my items come in. I've had this scissors for about 8 months now and it still works as it did, when I first used it. I even bought another one, just in case... Because of the serrated side, It has to be properly cleaned so as to remove any bits of meat or cardboard that may be stuck on the jagged side. It's a bit stubby, but that's not to its detriment, as it can be convenient. While I'm right-handed, these are ambidextrous so you don't have to grab them "just right" to work them. They cut well on both hard and soft material.I have them handily hanging on a hook by my kitchen sink.
