I bought a sketchy wii u off of a japanese site and it said the battery was cooked on the thing. This came to the rescue, so far, no inflation or signs of wear and the game pad actually lasts significantly longer. Good battery for a wii u in need of a life saving operation

Easy replacement. Replaces original 1500 mAH Wii U battery & fits perfectly mounted horizontally. It may have arrived partially charged as it charged quickly. No comment yet on longevity. The included tiny screwdriver is a throw away & nearly useless. It's too small to get any leverage on the very tight screws & was ruined in the process. Screws were finally removed with a larger handled micro Phillips screwdriver. Recommended.

i bought this because i was getting irritated having to swap battery packs every few hours (i have 2 of the original 1,500mah batteries) so far its lasting far longer than the originals and as someone else said, dont use the pad/sticker they include since it may cause damage to the wii u pad. the screwdriver tip was too flat on mine to grip the screws well but i have my own screwdrivers so its fine.

has a very odd short battery life (almost like the default wii u battery) and the only way to fix it is to let it idle long while the wii u gamepad is turn "on" and the wii u console is also turn "on" until dies off and then let it charged - but it also takes a very long charge to go back to being 100%. sometimes the wired plug that goes into the wii u gamepad is also buggy - like sometimes my wii u gamepad light indicator would flash orange when i'm away from the wii u to do something else which i have to unplug it and replug it in and sometimes twirl it 2 to 3 times and then plug in it - even though it normally goes in perfectly. overall, after doing all the steps above - i'm satisfied with this 3rd party wii u gamepad battery, it lasted very long even past 5 or 6 hrs. of wii u gaming with a few minutes breaks in between each hours (wii u gamepad's brightness set a "3", but i usually play games on a bigger screen than the wii u gamepad's screen). i would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to replace the default wii u gamepad battery that came with the wii u.

Fit perfectly. my Wii U controller now holds a charge! Installation was easy, the screwdriver provided is small, but effective. Make sure to use the provided pad so that the battery doesn't rattle around.

Very easy to install, but it doesn't work. Installed it in my WiiU Gamepad, put the Gamepad on the charging dock. No LED light to indicate it was charging. Just in case the LED was out, left it on the dock for a full day, gamepad still wouldn't turn on. Just for the sake of argument, I put the old, original, factory-installed battery back into the Gamepad. Put it on the dock, and that orange LED light came on immediately. Gamepad turned on as well. Swapped back to this new replacement battery, and got the same result as the first time - no LED light, Gamepad won't power on. This offbrand replacement battery is junk. Sending it back for a refund. Would not recommend. Sounds like the original battery just needed some time disconnected to reset itself or something.

My Wii U Gamepad wouldn't hold a charge for more than a minute or so, and so I had to keep my Gamepad plugged in to use it. That creates a huge hassle when trying to play Wii U games since I'm tethered to the charging cord. I bought this replacement to hopefully fix that. It wasn't until I opened up the Gamepad to install this new battery that I saw that the cells inside the original battery had burst and so the plastic case of the OG battery was bulging, though the plastic was unbroken, so no leakage had occurred. This battery lasts forever compared to how long the battery lasted when my Wii U and Gamepad was new. It's a great buy if you need a new Wii U Gamepad battery!

This is ridiculously easy to install. It comes with the screwdriver. You just fully remove the back (just screws holding in place. No wires. No issues) then stick this one in and close it up. I have the oldest model of Wii U. I ordered it as soon as orders became available. This battery fit in and worked with mine with no issue. It’s great. It charges quickly. I know I’m in the minority, but I love the Wii U and used to kill the battery all the time. I love the enhanced battery life of this unit.

La batería tiene buena duración, tenía la original, pero ya no retenía carga más que por 15 minutos, entonces el haberla reemplazado fue lo mejor, literalmente la cargué al 100% me puse a jugar unas 3.5 hrs y la batería apenas iba al 50%, súper recomendable la actualización y el rendimiento de la misma.

Excelente, no puedo decir mas, muy buena bateria, solo recomiendo no ponerle el sticker que la deja en su lugar debido a que es mas gordita que la original y la tapa queda super justa.

Excelente batería, de larga duración, claramente se nota la diferencia con la que viene de fabrica, he tenido varias sesiones de juego y no he tenido necesidad de cargarla de nuevo, se adapta muy bien al espacio de la batería en el Wii U, fácil de instalar y lo mejor es que incluye la herramienta necesaria para hacer el cambio.

Dudaba un poco de su durabilidad pero ya tengo como medio año de uso y me tarda dias sin volver a cargar, amo esta batería
