She works long hours on her feet and has been in search of black shoes that are comfortable for her small, wide, flat feet with bunion issues. She wears size 6.5 double wide. I usually find shoes for her online and have them shipped to her, and then she has to go through the process of returning them.I have had luck with Propet for my size 8.5W feet and was actually looking for a cute black mary jane for myself. I found these Sparrow flats and thought they were cute, so I looked and they have them in my mother's hard-to-find size. AND, her size was on sale for $23 instead of $80! So I ordered them for her. She called me last night after an evening shift on her feet and tried on these flats and said they were absolutely perfect. This has been a long time coming!!! She said the width is perfect, she has room in her toes, the leather is nice but not super thick so the top of the shoe fits closely to her foot but isn't tight at the least, she can place a finger in loosely. And since it was the end of the day and her feet were at their most swollen, I know the next morning they'll be just that much more comfortable. She was so pleasantly surprised. I got online immediately and ordered her a second (the last) pair. No more of those "old lady shoes" for her! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fashionable shoe in extra wide sizes *by S***X on February 18, 2015* These shoes are really flattering on a wider foot and are very fashionable. They are somewhat comfortable and will be great to wear to work. I did buy them for a trip where I would be doing a lot of walking (and didn't want to wear sneakers), but I don't think they will serve the purpose. They don't have a lot of cushioning, so all-day walking is out of the question. The shoes do have a removable insole, though. If you wear orthotics, they should fit nicely. I might look into getting some kind of insert.
