This set is perfect! The hand held wand makes precise carving easy. The six speeds is great and when on max cuts through everything I have thrown at it. My husband has also used it to cut off bolts using the cut off wheel. The size is acceptable. The noise is fine. The kit comes with lots of attachments and safety pieces. The versatility of this kit is outstanding.

My husband uses this in the garage and hasn’t had a single complaint about it, which from him is basically a glowing endorsement. It came with 190 pieces, a flex shaft, and a carrying case so everything stays organized. He’s used it for sanding, grinding, and detail work on various projects around the house. The variable speed is nice so he can adjust depending on what he’s working on. The flex shaft makes it easier to get into tight spots without fighting the tool. It’s a WEN so the quality is solid without paying name-brand prices. Does everything a rotary tool should do. The carrying case is a nice bonus — keeps all 190 pieces from ending up scattered across the workbench.

I don't use this for too many things other than small cutting projects, but it's a great tool for the price. Way cheaper and better than what you find in hardware stores. My only complaint is that you need to keep the plastic cover on all the pieces. I stupidly threw it away because it seemed like it was just part of the packaging, but then all the pieces fall out everywhere in the top of the case. Not too big of a deal. I just throw them in the bottom.

For a nice variable speed rotary tool kit for under 40 dollars you cannot go wrong with this one b WEN Tools. It has an actual instruction manual that is just ok. It says to lubricate the cable and does not specify what lubricant to use, so I just use a few drops of Juki industrial sewing machine oil which has been doing just fine. Noise wise and quality wise this is about the same as the 30 year old dremel I wore out. Power wise sometimes I wonder if the old dremel was a little stronger ? Noise wise it's a rotary tool they are all noisy. Vibration wise it's going to vibrate its a rotary tool. This one is actually pretty nicely balanced I am impressed. So far I love this new tool it works great and I am really having fun with it. The carry case everything has its little place and fits. I wish that WEN offered a more heavy duty carrying case like the gray one dremel did 30 years ago. The carry case that it comes with is just ok. Sadly it would easily break if it accidentally fell on the ground. If it was made from a harder stronger material I would really like the carry case even more. So would I recommend one absolutely yes. This is a great tool for all ages and something everyone can have fun letting their creative imagination go wild using. Thank you.

This is my second rotary tool for tiny and detailed refinishing. My last I bought many years ago because it wasn’t strong enough to keep rotating under notable pressure. But this one is awesome. I have now used multiple bits on pinewood and this tool did great. It did get pretty hot in my hand since I was working it pretty hard but the heat never was an issue. I also tried the long flex shaft. It was pretty handy for the extra finite needs. The heavier unit sometimes made micro movements tough to be accurate. I should probably watch some videos for tips on how to cut a straight line on wood but this tool is a really great start. Good quality. Smooth operation. Love the variable speed and powerful motor. Thankful for all the bits. The only thing I wish it had was different sand paper grits. All of the ones here are off the same low number grit, which leaves lines in the wood. Makes beautifully fast work but once you’re ready for an option that doesn’t leave lines, there isn’t one in this set. I record buying additional bits that’s have more variety. Even still, this is a stellar product!

My new computer case has a power has a power supply shroud that covers my OLED and RGB lights on the power supply unit. I’ve never done this before (cut metal) and I found it easy to do! I’ve owned two Dremels before, a wired and cordless version and this Wen tool works just as good as they did. I’ve also found that the Dremel and Wen bits works with each other. Why did I buy a Wen when I already owned a Dremel? It was because of the Snaek/Flex Shaft which I could no use. I thought it was supposed to make it easier to cut hard to reach places, but I think it is actually supposed to be used like pen for engraving. While the tool has a nice solid feel to it, the tool box is made of thin plastic which feels very cheap. After using the Wen, I am wondering if the Chinese company that makes the Wen also makes the Dremel tools for Dremel! (It’s similar to the Chinese company that makes the Ryobi power tools and Dewalt.) That’s how good it is! Pros • Tools feels Solid. • Cheaper than the compriable $90 Dremel set. The tool and the ton of attachments they give you are great but the container that they put it all in is terribly designed. It's a real chore to have to try to figure out what head goes with what adapter and the pieces are constantly falling out. If they would have used a normal case, I would give it a 5/5.

This seems like a good quality and good value bit of kit but unfortunately it came with a US plug and is not rated for UK voltage so I haven’t been able to try it out

hola buenas tardes en verdad me pareció un buen articulo y aun buen precio pues el contenido es variable y no se me ase de mala calidad lo e usado para cosas pequeñas cortes, acabados, esmerilados, perforaciones de uso domestico muy practica esta herramienta no e tenido problema alguno no estorba y su caja es muy útil para poder transportarlo de un lugar a otro ...me pareció muy buen herramienta.

Lets start with tge issue; 1. This is a 120v 60hz!!! And having a 2 flat pin plug. Not a EU 3 PIN PLUG! 2. The plastic lock latch of the toolbox is so brittle mine came with a broken lock. 3. Again its a 120v.!! If your really in to this buy a stepdown powersupply if you have a 230v supply. Now on positive side: 1. Build quality feels premium tool in hand.. 2. PLENTY OF bits and accesories a LOT! 3. BEAUTIFUL CARRYBOX BUT PLASTICS ARE BRITTLE. 4 reasonable product for the price you pay. Have some issues but some are easy fix.. big issue to me is its a 120v!!!!
