As others have mentioned, do not use for a CPU! *by C***J on October 4, 2024* I was expecting strips pre-cut for 2280 drives, these are an appropriate width, but much longer! Each strip can cover one side of 2 drives. A note about W/mK ratings: W/mK rises as temperature increases. Some of the best liquid thermal paste tops out at 6 W/mK. These strips are NOT going to outperform. Instead of rating the W/mK at a expected working temperature for the application this W/mK rating is either entirely fabricated..."out of thin air" (typical China...) or the W/mK rating at the material's maximum working temperature, which would be hundreds of degrees beyond what an SSD could operate at.
