**Q: how does it fix to the wall?**
A: There are two screws (supplied with rawl plugs) that go into the wall and the clock hands on them from the top.

There are also two bolts that connect to the back of the clock lower down ( at 3 and 9) to hold the clock away from the wall to allow the pendulum to swing
