I did have to use a hacksaw to cut off the little ring they put on the end of the knife to attach to your keychain. Not all of us want to have to hold our keys when using a pocket knife . I wish they made it removable so you didn't have to saw it off If you don't want it. But all in all I would recommend it. I bought the same knife for a few family members for Christmas.
