After some experimenting, I have found that measuring 1.25 cups of rum cake batter into each pan is just the right amount to fill each pan without having excess. **Q: I don’t like using cooking spray. What can I use to replace it and still get perfect nonstick results.?** A: You should never use regular cooking spray on bunt pans. it will leave a residue over time and the non- stick surface will be compromised.
