Rain Bird ZA84002 Tap Programmer, Black (3/4 inches)

I bought two of these, both work exactly as I wanted, I’m irrigating around 250m of Laurel hedging with these as the timers, twice daily. Boost feature is also useful, large easily readable screen and ready to use controls. They’ve been running for a month or so without issues, pretty much fire and forget.

Really easy to setup and use. Perfect.

Yes this has a great interface but don't trust the battery indicator. I have 4 of these and one of the older ones has stopped shutting off the valve fully at the end of the watering period Second one (new) to fail to shut off wasting gallons of water. many reviews online at Homedepot USA report this problem; amazon are sending a replacement but I can no longer trust Rainbird Replacement soon failed to shut off after a couple of weeks. Amazon very kindly sent another replacement which also after a couple of weeks - this time with water in the LED display. Amazon refunded me so I was able to purchase a different make: Aug 2019 another one failed to shut off while away roof garden planters filled with water for a month Claber Aquauno 8423 which gets highest marks on Amazon Italy and no LED

Es muy sencillo de montar y muy fácil de programar yo ya tengo tres y por el momento todos están yendo muy bien hay que esperar un poco más de tiempo para valorarlos bien por el momento estoy bastante satisfecho creo que he echo una buena compra

Negli anni ho cambiato varie centraline, passando anche per marchi conosciuti tipo gardena che hanno un certo costo e che devo dire hanno svolto egreggiamente il loro lavoro, ma: se non si rompeva la valvola il piccolo e macchinoso schermo led diventava illegibile dopo un paio di stagioni e comunque avevano una programmazione poco intuitiva, pulsanti piccoli e scomodi , ancor peggio le indicazioni sullo schermino led. Così ho voluto provare questa Rainbird e fino ad ora il funzionamento sembra perfetto, grande e leggibile schermo led ( talmente grande che credo si leggerà anche se la plastica di dovesse opacizzare grazie ai suoi caratteri inproporzione con lo scermo ), programmazione veramente elementare e ben fatta , comodo il manopolone per le selezioni, comodo il tasto di blocco per i giorni di pioggia ( impostabile su quante ore si vuole ), se non si rompe è per ora la migliore che ho installato. Spedizione rapidissima, imballaggio ben fatto, completo di istruzioni, ma è talmente semplice che se ne potrebbe fare a meno. Unico piccolo neo , va smontata durante l'inverno come indicato da un'adesivo posto sulla centralina, inquanto con temperature rigide può avere dei guasti.

L'arrosage automatique s'effectue de façon fiable, une fois paramétré. La programmation est intuitive, simple et efficace. Attention aux pas de vis en plastique au contact du metal dans les embouts employés. Mais une fois installé, c'est au top, je peux m'absenter sans problème, le programmateur fait son travail.

Great irrigation timer with many options. Fully customizable with a weekly timetable/schedule. East to ovverride with the "water now" button in case you need an extra watering shift. I would adwise buying gardena adapters making it plug and play since it needs to be disconnected and stored inside during risk of frost /winter!
