## Description

Shop CC Century Pro Cue Tips - G2 (11mm). Free delivery and returns on all eligible orders.

Review: Great tip, good comms from seller - I note there is another review complaining that the tips sent are 11mm whereas the listing detail shows imagery of 10mm packaging. I usually buy 10mm which for me is slightly larger than my ferrule, and trim it to size. I’ve tried 11mm in the past and found it difficult to hack the extra away and do a neat job, some tips have torn or ripped big chunks out for example After receipt of the tips I contacted the seller when I noticed the size difference. They explained that desertcart has restricted what can be done with their listing, making it difficult to explain to customers that they changed their manufacturing processes from 10mm to 11mm some time ago. Seller assured me that the tip would trim down fine. I was a little skeptical but willing to try. I have fitted the tip and used it. I must say it’s been the easiest tip I’ve ever fitted and shaped, beautiful to work with. During play it feels brilliant, much better than my old elkmaster. I have no idea if the tips I have used previously have been hard or soft so I went for the G3 to be somewhere in the middle. The tip feels superb, definitely softer than what I had previously which I really like. It has mushroomed a little after a few frames (perhaps to be expected, perhaps my poor burnishing skills) but nothing a quick reshape and burnish won’t solve Seller was happy to help and fast to respond to my concerns about size. If the negative review about the sizing is the only thing holding you back, then my advice is to order asap as these are very easy to trim and shape and they play really well
Review: Quality tips - Background - I've been playing cue sports for nearly 40 years and recently have really stepped up my snooker practice to 15-20 hours per week. In my years of playing I have tried all sorts of things to help my game, including different tips. I used blue diamond for many years, more recently trying Elk, Kamui and Elk Pro's. All of which I found inconsistent and didn't give me the feel I need. So after hearing about the Century Pro Tips I though I'd give them a try. Initially I bought the selection box to try the different 'hardness' of tip available. After this I have now settled on the G2 tips as I do prefer a softer feel. Fitting the tips - I use a 10mm tip on my 9.5mm cue and fit in the usual way using superglue gel. Clearly, it is really important to get the tip central and then apply a good even pressure to ensure the glue takes across the tip. I then use glass paper to slowly decrease the diameter of the tip for my cue. This is quite a lengthy process but I prefer this to using a blade to cut the tip down. A bit of 'doming' may be necessary but the out of the box shape seems pretty good. 'Playing in' - Now this is the real plus point for me about these tips. Unlike other tips that take a while to play in and settle down I find the Century Pros are ready to go immediately. So far, this has been the same for all the Century Pros I have used and I'm probably on my 10th now. In use - I love the feel of these tips and find they accept the chalk really well and need little attention. They grip the cue ball well and enable me to get the predictable control I want. Of course I have mis-cued with these tips but that's down to me trying to impart too much spin or not cueing smoothly. After quite a bit of play (several hours of solo practice for me), the tip can balloon a little on the edges, which just needs a bit of rubbing back with the glass paper again. However, this is minor given the actual impact area holds a good shape throughout and I very rarely have to resurface it in any way. Longevity - This is another plus point of these tips. They last really well. I recall when I was using blue diamond tips, which I used to change every month and I wasn't even playing as much then as I do now. These, on the other hand last me at least 3 months, which for me, offsets their initial cost. Personally I change my Century Pro tips when it goes hard. Difficult to explain but for me, it definitely hits a point where the tip sounds and feels hard. This is when I will replace it with a new tip. Conclusion - For 'bang for your buck', these are the best tips I have used by far. I tried many different sorts of tips and was disappointed by their inconsistency of quality and limited longevity. It would take something special to make me by any other sort of tip and I would recommend these to anyone.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it possible to have a box with a selection of tips? For example: g1,g2,g3 & g4?**
A: Yes

**Q: Do they only come in 10mm**
A: At this moment yes only 10mm. Bigger sizes we will be manufacturing soon. Regards Drew - CC

**Q: These are the softer ones ?**
A: Yes although the G2's are quite soft enough for increased grip and spin. Because of the price you may not want to check them both out. If you're a bit an Alex Higgins go for G1, otherwise I would play a season with G2's and see what t hey add to my game.

**Q: What tip would you recommend for pool, love to spin the cue ball around. Also what for snooker, same thing but hit also like to hit hard**
A: I am a fan of the Elkmaster pro tips, they come in soft, medium and Hard.
I personally use hard for Pool and Snooker... try them out
