Very pleased with the product and the end result.
Measured my existing nut before ordering and the replacement fitted with very little adjustment. I sanded down the bottom of the new nut to give me the correct string height. Very pleased with the end result. No string binding and has (to my surprise) made a very big improvement to the tone of the guitar. Would definitely recommend this TUSQ nut as an upgrade.

No more Fret Buzz on my Epiphone :)
Excellent pre-slotted nut perfect for Epiphone guitars. I'm undertaking a Les Paul Special II Upgrade project at the moment to learn as much as I can and to make a 50 pound guitar sound like a 500+ one and so far it's going well. The Nut is a crucial component for any guitar (Electric or Acoustic) and a lot of Epiphone guitars come with really rubbish nuts and tend to have a fair bit of fret buzz in the upper frets....this nut eliminated that buzzing and saved me a lot of money in otherwise required "luthier file tools" (not to mention time). The seller offered a speedy despatch and fair price too. Recommend!

Very easy to do, anyone could do it.
Replaced a petty full plastic nut on Epiphone Les Paul custom pro. Open strings now sound good rather than dull with little resonance. Highly recommend doing this 15 minute swap out that only requires a small amount of sanding.

perfect gauge cut
once a nut, always a nut.? just put one of these on my epiphone les paul, perfect gauge cut. all i had to do was file the edges, & bottom to keep the height/action low, sounds great with open chords, these should be supplied on all guitars ? im gonna replace those dreadful synthetic nuts on my takemine & fender acoustics. teflon is the word ? forget about bone, etc these tusq nuts are great.

Great upgrade, especially with 3 per side headstocks.
The final piece of the transformation of my Epi Les Paul Standard from good to stunning.Roller bridge,Super Distortion bridge p/up and this nut.Obvious improvement in clarity, brightness and tone and banishes the 3 a side tuning hang ups. Warning:Do not attempt to d.i.y this job unless qualified, take it to a tech or luthier.I am a tech and I'd charge £15 to fit it.It's a tidy piece of kit.Slots cut perfectly especially for 9's and 10's.It's a small upgrade but pays off with major improvement.I love it and will be offering it to clients having set ups. It's that good.

Big tobe for such a small change
I bought one of these to replace the nut on my Epiphone Les Paul. The low E and A slots had worn too deep, causing fret buzz when playing open strings. The Tusq replacement fitted well enough, a little sanding required on the ends and front but nothing that took any more than 15 minutes. The slot depths were about perfect. As an off the shelf replacement it was more than adequate. The big surprise was the difference this made in the tone of the guitar! It was louder, clearer, more sustain and just more presence. I did not buy this for that purpose but I will definitely be doing so in the future for all my guitars!

Impresionantes, nunca fallan

GREAT PRODUCT
Ordered this from Anthill Music and it was delivered in about 3 days with regular UPS, great shipping. I installed this on an Epiphone Les Paul which I had previously put a Bigsby B7 on. Before the Bigsby, the guitar was rock solid tuning wise, with the exception of the G-String (the tuner itself was slipping). After the Bigsby, the guitar would not stay in tune at all, there was a night and day difference in tuning because of the Bigsby. I ordered this nut, along with GraphTech's ABR saddles only for the tuning stability, as they were recommended highly on several prominent guitar forums and by my local music shop. GraphTech's nut is slightly oversized so that you can sand it down to get the right fit for your guitar. However, it is only oversized length wise. The GraphTech nut was not any taller height wise than the nut that was on my Epiphone, and if anything, it was a hair shorter than the original nut, which means I have no say in the string height from the nut. Overall, it took about 10 minutes to sand down and install (with the help of a dab or two of wood glue). The nut, along with the saddles, have improved my guitars tuninig stability greatly. Now I can use the Bigsby all day long and at the end of the day, tuning is no longer an issue as it has been for the past year. Although my guitar is still not 100% rock solid as it used to be without the Bigsby, the nut has helped solve the problem greatly. Additionally, and to my surprise, my guitar is noticeably brighter sounding than before, which I actually enjoy. The only downside to this nut was the fact that it was a smidge shorter than the original nut, and I could not adjust for the perfect height. If you are having tuning problems due to additional equipment (such as a vibrato or Floyd Rose whammy), I highly recommend GraphTech nut and saddles because they really do help out with tuning issues.

Increible sonido!
