Quiet and sturdy, great for gaming or productivity
I had been searching for a replacement keyboard while trying to avoid another obnoxiously loud mechanical keyboard. I game, browse, and work from my computer so I needed something that balanced all of those. So far this keyboard has not disappointed. The keyboard feels solid and sturdy. It has a decent weight to it while still being slim, and does not shift or slide around easily which is fantastic. I was hesitant to use a wireless keyboard, but the set up using the included wireless USB receiver was seamless with no noticeable input lag. The backlight is adjustable and works well, night or day. Having been heavily using a laptop for productivity and gaming lately, I wanted a keyboard that felt similar to type on, hoping for something akin to the Razer Deathstalker I used back before it was discontinued. This fits the bill. While perhaps not a true “gaming keyboard”, it passed my tests in various games with no issue whatsoever. The typing is very quiet, which will help for late night gaming or work and not annoying others around me. It was practically plug and play on my Windows computers, though I have yet to try it on my Mac. Very pleased with this one. If you’re looking for a quiet, laptop-esque feel in a keyboard, I recommend giving this a try.

Great Keyboard
Very nice keyboard. Upon opening initial feel is very high quality, heavy feel which is nice. Takes a bit to fully charge but you can use it while its charging. Very easy to pair via Bluetooth so you dont need to use the dongle. Has a nice smooth texture nice to the touch. The backlit keyboard comes in handy and is easily adjustable with the logi options+ desktop application. Sticks to where you place it on your desk well and does not slide around. A little spendier than other keyboards but is well worth it in my opinion. Only con I have found is it uses the new logi options + app and not the original so had to download in order to customize. Highly recommended.

Hard to explain but worth the money.
Yeah.. best keyboard I have owned for sitting away from a computer and using it on your lap. 1. Awesome build and weight. Feels like you could do some real damage with it. 2. Backlight is amazing. 3. When it dies, just plug it in and it is a wired keyboard. More responsive. 4. Easy multi-device setup with multiple logi usb dongles + bluetooth. With the mouse.. KV like flexibility. Only one con but not a problem for me. When it has been sitting.. backlit off.. on battery, it can take a half a second to respond. And it is hit or miss if the key will wake up and be sent or just wake it up. I am in the habit of simply hitting the <ctrl> key to wake it up before I type. I could see how that could frustrate some. I also think you would want to plug it in to attempt gaming or anything that requires low latency. My favorite keyboard I have own for this use case. I am a programmer and computer junky so I type a lot. Thrilled with this. I do not want to hear it when I am chilling on my recliner listening to tunes and relaxing. It is nice that it is quite. At my desk I want the mechanical. You feel like you are holding a piece of serious hardware. Amazing build quality. I have had this for awhile now and I am so happy I got it.

Wish it lasted forever
Had previously purchased the mx keys through a big brand electronics store open box for about $100. It worked great, I loved it for its ability to connect to multiple PC's. It started failing recently, would disconnect and found I had to keep it plugged in constantly to retain the connection. So the built in battery was failing; I was disgruntled because it felt like I had just purchased it. Checked my purchase history and it was 4 years old. Okay, so it lasted 4 years but buying new means I'm paying $32/year for a keyboard. It really is a top of the line keyboard and I researched other options but couldn't imaging going back to something subpar so... I purchased new. It might only last 4 years again but it's a sweet 4 year era. This new version only works on the logi bolt, meaning the old unifying receiver won't work for this. So I took the opportunity to purchase the mx anywhere mouse 3s to replace the old 2s which used the micro usb charger which I needed an adapter for to charge and also worked on the old unifying technology. I purchased the mouse direct from Logitech and received a discount through a promo code but at least both devices are on the logi bolt usb dongle and both use usb c for recharging. For context I live in a small apartment with my PC in my living room connected to my TV so the keyboard resides on my coffee table across the room; I don't really have the option of running a long-wired keyboard across the room so this is the best option for me, as well as controlling a mini PC which is used as a HTPC.

It Works great, impressive roster of features
I had been looking for a decent wireless BACKLIT-CAPABLE keyboard for use with my new PC and everything was a disappointment until I found this beauty. Granted it might not be inexpensive (This was going for $100 a month ago, but they seemed to have dropped the price by $25 bucks last I checked) - BUT: I can say that it's one of the nicest keyboards I've ever used on any system. The keys are responsive and I can type very fast on this unlike some spongy mush-pads I've had to suffer through in past. I appreciate the proximity sensor that lights up the keys as your hand approaches in a darkened room. The options such as setting up quick-keys to automate repetitive tasks is great, and it does exhibit long battery life even with the backlighting on. Certainly I've never had the keyboard run out of power thus far while in the middle of a project. The overall design reminds me greatly of the Apple aluminum wired and later wireless "Magic" keyboards which gives the keyboard a premium look and feel. Overall I am impressed with both the looks and working performance of the MX Keys S. Anything to DISLIKE? Sure. This isn't a perfect product, even if it IS working nicely on my machine. Issue 1: There are NO little adjustable feet on the bottom to angle the keyboard even a few degrees to suit someone's preference. You get these on most keyboards. MOST. Apple stopped including adjustable feet on their keyboards a Loooong time ago, so I guess the *ahem* "spirited design inspiration" Logitech borrowed from the aluminum Mac keyboards carried through enough to not allow for tiny pop-out feet that could pivot the keyboard a miserable couple of millimeters in additional height. Oh well. Onto the Next Problem! Issue 2: It uses a SEALED BATTERY like so many other consumer devices nowadays. Rather than design this keyboard to use readily available rechargeable AA batteries or something like 18650 Li-Ion batteries, you're going to be stuck with whatever they give you and for however long it lasts. Now, I know there are replacement battery kits for this thing out there if you're brave enough to tackle such a venture - I've done my fair share of taking electronics apart to fix them - but honestly, HOW many people are actually going to DO THAT versus just junking the keyboard when the battery stops taking a charge and go out and buy the newest model Logitech is peddling? This could have been a great opportunity for Logitech to help with stopping our landfills from being clogged up full of old e-waste, but sadly not so. Especially irksome is if you visit the Logitech website they'll happily prattle on about how the MX Keys is made up of percentages of post-consumer recycled material and has "Low Carbon Aluminum" in its construction.... BUUUTTTT.... you couldn't design a product that would easily live on beyond its battery's ability to hold a charge? Yanno - make it easy for someone to swap out a battery or something? Jeeze. Issue 3: The backlighting could be a little, uh - "More" it seems to me at times. In a darkened room, there's no issue with seeing the keys especially when you've got it maxxed out on brightness. If you're doing color-corrections or editing, you probably don't want the characters on the keys shining away like Christmas lights any way. I'm commenting on maybe having a little more brightness when the room is cloaked in semi-lit surroundings and having a bit of extra Oomph on the backlighting would help. What I've noticed is that the characters font used on the keys is pretty THIN. It's crisp lettering. Everything is legible, and for the most part all evenly lit from behind... but that font seems thinner than what I've used on other keyboards and that doesn't make the characters easier to view even if backlit. Not a deal-killer, just an observation. SO there you have it. Really nice Keyboard I find. I hate the fact it uses a sealed battery and I'm going to have to take this thing apart in 2-3 years and try and shoehorn in a new battery pack when it gets to that point (Let's hope the battery lasts that long!). It works really well for everything I've thrown at it so far. Not having the little feet on the bottom isn't THAT big of a deal really. Backlight works nicely. I've tried linking it to another device and it switches back and forth as it should. Hardware feels and functions well, software has been doing what it needs to. Ultimately I'm happy with the purchase, and I think I should properly expect to get a great deal of use from this keyboard without a lot of issues. 4-Stars out of 5.

Natural feel, responsive keys.
Product Review: Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard - The Ultimate Typing Companion! I recently upgraded my keyboard to the Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard, and I must say, it's been an absolute game-changer for my daily productivity and overall typing experience. This premium keyboard has everything you could ever want in a typing companion and more! The first thing that struck me was the natural key feel. The keys on the MX Keys S have just the right amount of resistance, providing a satisfying tactile feedback with every keystroke. Typing on this keyboard feels effortless and smooth, making it a joy to use for extended periods of work or leisure. What truly impressed me was how quiet this keyboard is. The keys are so discreet and soft, making it the ideal choice for those late-night work sessions when everyone else is asleep. No more loud clacking sounds to disturb the peace! Yet, despite its whisper-quiet operation, the keys still manage to deliver that delightful clicky feel. Durability and sturdiness are other standout features of the Logitech MX Keys S. The keyboard feels incredibly well-made, and you can instantly tell it's designed to withstand heavy usage over an extended period. The materials used are of excellent quality, giving it a robust and premium look that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. The MX Keys S comes equipped with fantastic back lighting that elevates your typing experience even further. The illuminated keys not only look cool but are also incredibly practical, especially in dimly lit environments. The back lighting adapts to ambient lighting conditions, making it easy to type effortlessly in any setting. Switched from Razer and don't regret it at all
I used Razer mechanical keyboards for years because I game regularly, but after dealing with inconsistent quality and some weird issues tied to Razer Cortex, I decided to try something different. I picked up the Logitech MX Keys S and honestly wish I had switched sooner. It’s much quieter than a mechanical keyboard, which is great for work from home, but it still feels responsive enough for gaming. The keys have a smooth, solid feel and typing on it is extremely comfortable for long sessions. It feels premium and well built, not flimsy at all. So far I’ve had zero issues. It handles work and gaming without a problem, and the programmable keys are a nice bonus. If you want something that balances productivity and gaming without the loud mechanical noise, this is a great option.

Simply the best Wireless keyboard, hands down
I absolutely love this keyboard, it is very intuitive and it looks great it's solid I love weight it does not move around It was very easy to set up, I used the USB adapter that came with it to connect. I also tested out the bluetooth connectivity and it worked fairly well. However that being said I've noticed that there are many of those here who have said there was some connectivity issues. That's understandable, it's the nature of Bluetooth sometimes. I was having some connectivity issues as well. Come to find out some of my drivers were not fully updated, so I made sure that all my bluetooth drivers were updated and it continued to work florida State. One of the other features I really like about this is that I'm able to connect it with 1 touch to two different devices. I use this one for my laptop, and it sets on a slide out shelf that I bought here, and it's also connected to my iPhone and an Android tablet. With the touch of a button It immediately connects after the initial setup which is extremely easy to do. It stays in my opinion low power mode until you're ready to use it and with just a wave of your hand ever so slightly above the keys, activate the backlighting. The application that you download from the company also is very intuitive, it allows you to customize one single button to perform many different tasks. Plus you can also customize the F1 F2 and F3 buttons as well. Another thing I really like is there is a single button to activate the dictation feature, which is what I am currently used to write this review. And also the emoji feature, this is handy if you are chatting on a text website. I really like this brand, I own speakers with a bluetooth, Webcam, trackball mouse, and a few other peripherals. I really trust this brand. I've never spent this much money on a keyboard, but it was totally worth it

Awesome
My old Logitech keyboard eventually failed. I've been a loyal Logi customer for many years, I just see their products as superior to others. I didn't think, I'd be surprised by this one (what can on invent on a keyboard?), but they managed to do that again. It works beautifully, illumination comes up as as soon as I touch any key. And the keys are silky smooth and very pleasant to touch. Very nice action, too - not too soft, not too hard. Another excellent Logitech product. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite keyboards to type on!
I really love this keyboard! It feels so smooth when I type on it. It feels very similar to typing on a MacBook but the keys feel more satisfying and easier to type on. Also, it’s really silent to type on (great for the office, and sound won’t bother you). Highly recommend!
