So I am trying to find him good replacements without breaking the bank. Normally adidas shoes are around $30+tax in where I live and even with some deals or at outlet stores this does not go below $25. I was lucky to find this pair for $20 ( as of july 2015) at amazon. It has breathable texture and good arch support. Velcros are must for kids at this age. It has ortholite logo which means that the new foot friendly base technology was applied to this shoes. I have no complaints so far. One last thing to note: It does not say water proof so I would wear it during nicer weather... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for all kids, especially those w/low muscle tone *by A***A on July 28, 2015* Found a pair of these at a store & loved them so much I had to buy another pair. Why I loved them: they're lightweight & flexible. They offer a good base of support & are high in the heel. They are slightly wider in the toe box and can accommodate my son's orthotics or shin guards that have ankle padding. I have a child with special needs. All the features described are features a physical therapist with expertise in Down syndrome described as being important for children with low muscle tone.
