## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone used the transmitter in the same room as a FIOS supplied router? This device seems to destroy my wi-fi connection speeds.**
A: I have to unplug my wifi router in order to use the Terk. Yes, pain in butt if I want to watch tv in the kitchen. Doesn't matter what channel I select on router to stop any interference it does not work at all.

**Q: Has anyone used this to connect a Directv box to the feed from a dish? I have feed from dish into a different room and have been running a 50ft coax to the Directv Reciever.**
A: Hi Alan, I did not try to use it for video. I only tried to sent an audio signal to a sub-woofer and the signal was not clean, so I moved the transmitter that was behind a plaster wall out in the open pointing directly at the receiver about 12' away and it was still noisy. I can't say it want work for you but I tried 4 different ones with this Leap Frog being the most expensive and I sent them all back. My thoughts are if these things can't send a clean audio signal, then how will they process video. I'm sure they work to some degree otherwise why would anyone send them to market. They are made in China with very very cheap quality components so don't expect any amazing result. I would say it's better to pay a bit more and buy something made in the US or see if there is a device made by Kramer in Israel. They have good quality video and audio products, they are not cheap but they are not super expensive either. I am not at all against anything made in China but all those ones I tried were made there and all of them were a disappointment, and a hassle to send them back. If you do try it use Amex for the purchase, and buy it directly from Amazon supplied so it will be easy to return if you are not happy. Maybe it did not work for me because it needed to process everything instead of only a mono audio signal. However I would think it would run easier because it has less work to do, but this is an assumption on my part. However I have been building commercial A/V and lighting systems since 1983. Maybe the WiFi signal was screwing it up because I was trying to use it in a hotel lobby.Lee

**Q: Are both the transmitter and the receiver included for this price? I only see one picture.**
A: Yes the both are included with their power supplies

**Q: can I split a coaxial cable with a splitter before going into a tv, split into the coaxial input of this unit & view a different channel on another tv**
A: No the leap frog outputs a video signal, and the signal that the cable is putting out is different, it is a multiplex modulated signal which requires a de-modulator in order to work, which is what the TV's does. It will most likely mess up the leap frog unit.
