Review: Perfect Replacement Battery for My ONT - I purchased this battery to replace the backup battery in my home’s ONT, which keeps my fiber internet and phone service running during power outages. My original battery had begun triggering low battery alerts and was no longer holding a proper charge, so I needed a compatible 12V 7Ah sealed lead acid replacement with F1 terminals. This unit is a 12V 7Ah SLA battery with F1 spade terminals, and the dimensions matched my original battery exactly. The terminal size and placement were identical, which made it a true drop in replacement for my ONT. If your existing battery is labeled 12V 7Ah with F1 connectors, this should be fully compatible, but I recommend checking the label on your current battery to confirm before ordering. Removing the old battery was very simple. I opened the ONT battery compartment, disconnected the red and black F1 spade connectors, and lifted the old battery out. A: I use this as a replacement for my FIOS battery backup. My backup is in a wall mounted unit, where newer backups are smaller and use smaller batteries (I think “D” cells).

A: AXTRA 12V car battery charger maintainer will work to charge this battery. It has 0.9-amp slow charge (trickle charge and float charge) and 3.6-amp fast charge. AXTRA 3.6-amp car battery charger is great charger to keep battery fully charged. For me to leave the charger connected, charge and maintain the car battery, I would definitely go with AXTRA car battery charger.

**Q: Can i use this battery to replace 12v 7ah battery**
A: That's what I did.

**Q: My charger has 3 12v options, which should i use from this list?: 12v, 12v agm, 12v lithium.**
A: Just use 12V. This is a lead acid battery. Your other two settings are for lithium and glass mat. This is neither of those.
