Some reviews here have stated it won't fit, but it fit my unit which is about 8 years old. I removed the weird torx "security" screw with a tiny flat-head screwdriver. I've seen this unit on sale for only 7 or 8 bucks more than what I paid for the battery, but something about throwing away a perfectly functional piece of equipment just bothers me. Shipping was fast and battery arrived well-packed and charged so absolutely no complaints.
