They look good and the material they are made of feels nice in my hands. I like that these use AA instead of AAA batteries like other grinders I have used. The only improvement I can see so far would be an increase in volume when grinding pepper. I feel like I have to hold the grinder over food too long in order to get the right amount of pepper for my liking...and I'm not looking for a huge amount of pepper. To be honest though I haven't found a battery operated pepper grinder that works as well as a manual grinder. However these grinders are very convenient when my hands have been touching raw meat. I can keep one hand clean and still handle the meat without getting raw meat juices on the grinders.
