They're also free of artifical ingredients which is incredibly important. However they did not give me very much energy. I wouldn't say that they were completely ineffective, which is why I gave 3 stars. But I did not get much of an energy burst like I thought. I will stick with my F0rto Coffee shots which work better for me and cost alot less. But give these a try anyway because they may work for you. I've tried a lot of different brands and while some work pretty well, they all taste nasty! Enter Shotz. These don't taste bad at all. In fact, they actually taste pretty good. There's no horrible aftertaste and none of that obvious artificial flavor that the others have. I've tried the Pomegranate and Acai and both were pretty good. I prefer the Pomegranate but that's just a matter of taste. I'm going to run through all the flavors though to see if I like the any of the others better.As far as effectiveness, I'd say they work a little better than the standard energy shots but not quite as well as the extra strength ones. Right in the sweet spot for me.UPDATE: I've now tried all the flavors except berry. Here's what I think of each. Taste is subjective though so your YMMV:Pomegranate - Still my favorite. Tastes natural and isn't too sweet or too tart.Acai - Not bad but a little tart.Mango - Liquid mango! Seriously, this taste just like a mango so if you like mango you'll like this. I unfortunately don't care that much for mango so it's not my favorite. But I do I think this is the most natural tasting of the flavors.Strawberry Lemonade - A lot of folks seem to like this one but it's my least favorite. It has an artificial flavor to it to me.Berry: Ordering it next and will update when I've tried it.The only negative is the price. They are for sure more expensive. I think the extra cost is worth it though given my comments above. If you're on the fence about these, go ahead and give them a shot (unintentional pun).
