The one for sitting works perfect. Day time my Mom can sit on it, alarm sounds if she tries to get up, life is good! However, at night, when I need it the most, that pad on her bed doesn't work for her! She weighs 115 pounds. When she lays down, she doesn't have enough weight to trigger it. I had her on it, lay down, turned it on, she sat up, alarm sounded, but when she layed back down on it, it kept alarming! Her weight just won't keep the thing from alarming! So, I'm back to worry about my Mom falling because she has dementia & gets up, falls, broke her hip once, and has had about 25 falls recently. Any suggestions on how to keep her safe? This pad is useless to me while sleeping. Perhaps I should get her a weighted vest? Anyone know the weight limit for this to work? I wouldn't have bought it if that had been posted.
