They are large, quite bulky, non-stick pads that are held in place by underwear. The design makes them suitable for men and women. Although large, they are significantly less absorbent than the largest pads available, the 'maxi' size, available in packs of 21. These ''extra" pads do cope with heavy daytime loss, but if the loss is greater at night-time due to fluid retention, a heavier duty pad will probably be needed.Fluid loss is also dependent on body size, so a small framed person weighing around 55 kilos will probably be fine.They are comfortable to wear. once in position, but not discreet. and a bulkier outline is visible under clothing.They are significantly more absorbent than anything available on the high street, but they are distinctly 'as used in care homes'. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incontinence aids *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2020* I bought these for my brother who suffers from dementia and they are very good value. ### ⭐ False advertising. *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 April 2020* The photo shows absorbency level 3.
