I'm using it as a desktop mic stand and for that it works great, very strong and nimble. I also used it as a cab mic and a kick mic stand and for those purposes it works better than probably a regular boom stand would. It could maybe do with being a bit longer in certain scenarios, but generally speaking, its awesome!

Perfect if you're looking for a table top mic stand. I was concerned it would be too flimsy or would fall over, but it's in fact surprisingly heavy and very sturdy. Really easy to assemble and the perfect height for use sitting down. My only area for improvement is the fact that the metal base isn't completely smooth and could potentially scratch the desk surface, but put it on a mat and problem solved!

Sturdy and nicely weighted at the bottom but doesn’t have quite the range of motion I was hoping for.

Handy & solid

If you need a desk mic with lots of adjustment this is not for you and I would recommend a boom style stand, however if you simply require a set and forget stand for a mic this is perfect, it is incredibly solid with a metal weighted base and an articulating arm with limited range but that once adjusted is rock solid even with a heavy condenser mic on

Poco puedo decir de este producto porque en cuanto lo abrí y lo probé, vi que el soporte no admitía el micrófono que quería utilizar (SpeechMike de Phillips) así que lo devolví. Aún así me pareció un producto de calidad, robusto, bastante pesado y estable. Habría que verlo con un micrófono puesto para ver si es tan estable con peso, pero probablemente aguantara bien. Eso sí, me dio la impresión de que en vivo era más corto de lo que parecía en las imágenes; probablemente aunque el micrófono entrase en el soporte no se si mu hubiera servido por la longitud del "brazo cuello de cisne".

Lo usamos para un estudio de voz off en oficina y cumple totalmente su función, estamos muy contentos con el producto y la calidad del mismo es excelente.

I bought it to use as a bedside/desk mount for my phone, with a few alterations and some added bits it works well for that, I removed the mic bracket and attached a regular magnetic car phone mount. it holds my phone at a good angle so I can see it from bed and I can mount/dis-mount the phone without fumbling for a slot or retaining devise, the magnet just sucks it in. I did this because I wanted something heavy that will stand it's ground when engaging and disengaging the phone. all the magnetic phone mounts on Amazon were very light (6-10 ounces), but this thing weighs 2 pounds and it holds my Note10+ perfectly. I'm giving this 5 stars because I feel it would also be good as a mic stand for all the same reasons, it's heavy, stable, the flexible mount stays where you put it, and the price is right.
