Great little knife, but is it wearing out too fast?
Great Black Friday week value, but a little lesser value now as its price has been jacked up for Christmas! Either way, it is light, easy to carry concealed due to its deep pocket clip, it has a good budget handle (that does not smell like someone said), it is very sharp and very capable! An excellent budget EDC knife all around! But is the 8Cr13MoV blade steel durable enough? In the two weeks I have owned it, I have noticed the bottom of the blade is wearing out from flipping it open repeatedly. It could be part of breaking in, or it could be a developing problem. This happens because the liner lock mechanism holding the blade open, is hitting hard on the bottom of the blade every time you flip it open! So, after 10 flips, the contact point at the bottom of the blade will turn from black into silver. It is visible only if you close the blade and look carefully between the scales at the pivot point. If the knife was not black-washed, I would never have noticed! Now, if you continue flipping it open, after 40+ flips the metal at the bottom of the blade will start wearing out at the contact point with the liner lock. You will notice it because the blade bottom will no longer be square and some metal dust will start collecting between the scales near the pivot point. Not sure if this minor wearing out issue will eventually cause a wobble of the blade. So, you should not keep flipping it open unless you want to find out sooner rather than later! Either way, I will write an update. Overall though, at the Black Friday price point this knife was an awesome deal!

Snaps Open Like an Automatic--What a Great Buy for $30!
I am amazed and delighted over buying this knife for under $30. It's got snappy, smooth, and reliable action, it's comfortable in the hand with nicely textured scales and ergonomics, and it has a thin hollow ground blade that's very slicey and useful. The 8Cr13MoV steel might not keep an edge as well as the higher end steels, but it's a good steel that's proven itself for years and the blade should be very durable, corrosion resistant, and easy to sharpen. The knife I got is rock solid and I'll guess from the other Kershaws I've owned that this knife will withstand years of use. I don't know how Kershaw keeps putting out such fine products for such reasonable prices but here's another great Kershaw bargain. This is a top quality knife.

Love the Kershaw Conduit
My wife says I have a problem, I tell her I'm a collection. I like knives, I have a few. The Kershaw Conduit was more of an impulse purchase during Christmas. It was inexpensive, light weight, assisted, blacked out, slicey blade shape, deep pocket carry, and maybe an okay steel with 8Cr13MoV. I love this EDC!!! I've bought a lot of budget steel knives, and many manufactures hardness claims aren't as advertised. Kershaw delivered with this knife. The 8Cr13MoV took a really nice edge on the Worksharp angle sharpener, and it hasn't needed any touch ups. The handle texture is really nice, not too grippy or slick, and really comfortable. I really appreciate the weight of this knife! It doesn't take up much pocket real estate either. Centering came perfect from the factory. All black hardware is a nice touch. Overall: A huge Budget friendly win!!! Nice job Kershaw! Now I need to pick up the Iridium.

Great edc working knife
Love this knife. Very solid and the assisted opening hasn't failed me yet. The steel is a decent steel that is easy to sharpen. Gets very sharp and will hold an edge but isnt a real hard steel.

Snappy and grippy
The spring assist is extremely satisfying and snappy. When I first got it, it felt slightly smaller than I had expected but the quality is amazing. I am a very big fan of the textured grip and the point is extremely sharp for stabbing into stuff. Its a very fun fidgety knife especially for the price.

Great knife and blade is more sharp than it looks.
Kershaw makes good products and as expected its a wonderful knife. Build quality is on par with what you expect from a name like Kershaw. Assisted opening is fast, not too fast or snappy, but fast and just right. Not hard to initiate the function but just easy enough that it will not be an issue to activate the Assisted opening. Blade is alot more sharp than it looked and felt but yeah you should expect it to be....it is a knife and it's a knife from a brand with such a great reputation. Price is good. Yes we would all like it to be cheaper but what don't we wish was cheaper. Good value and I'm sure you will be pleased.

Nice EDC
Great edc. Holds edge well. Operates easily with one hand. Just short enough to fit under 3โ max blade allowance where I work.
