Merrell Women's Rosa Sandspur

I believe this is the 14th pair of this sandal I've owned over 6 years' time because they are so supportive, comfortable, and easy to wear. Right now, I have 5 pair that I swap out every day and 2 older pair that I wear when I do housework. I scrub the footbeds when they get dirty and let them dry in the sun. I've worn them sitting on a beach chair with my feet submerged in the lake for hours, and they come out fine. The price is right, they come in many colors, and I honestly don't know what I'd do if they went out of circulation!

Very comfy shoe. As long as its velcro is fastened well, it doesn’t rub or irritate my skin. I usually wear an 8.5, sometimes wide, and tried a nine. It was way too big. The 8 worked really well. It might be just a little shorter than my normal fit.

These shoes are Velcro and so they are adjustable and fit well. The first pair— I had for years. (I still wear them but now as yard shoes.) I am not a shoe person and hate most of the ones I see. I have about one of everything I have to have and try to be universal. I wear these with dresses, pants, shorts BUT ALSO, these are great river/water shoes. Especially, if you don’t like to wear shoes but know you need to. I’ve also worn them to water country with the kids. They stay in place and don’t flop around. They are seriously durable. (I should disclose that I am not a heavy outdoor person. So these may not be a “water” shoe someone who is out there every day. But for a mom, that keeps it simple in the office, casually, and out an about, these have met EVERY black sandal need I had. I still have the original pair and they are somewhere between 5-10 years old. There is a piece of fabric over the shoe pad and over the years it has fallen apart. It’s torn and frayed and underneath is white. So it’s obvious its all worn out. That’s the only reason I replaced them. But they still have good tread, sole, and straps! I just bought my second pair in July. I was excited to see the fabric here on the foot pad was also black (I think my first ones were gray.) Then I went on vacation and my dads new puppy ate one of them. I could have cried. I went the rest of vacation with out black sandals so I could come back and order theses online. I love them that much!! Just ordered my 3rd pair. Meanwhile, anyone need a single? I have one here…

Great sandals, very comfortable, good arch support, color is nice for summer. I can walk miles in these and straps remain in place without rubbing. My only slight complaint is that the Velcro strap that closes the sandal is a bit too short and if you are not very careful when putting the shoe on, the strap pulls out of the loop and then you have to take it off to fix it and put it back on hoping the same thing does not happen again. If you are in a hurry it can be annoying. If they made the Velcro close strap just 1/4 inch longer it would be perfect.

I am typically a size 8.5 though ordered an 8 & the fit is good. Love the cocoa/coral color, I'm so happy when brown is an option. Arch support is good too. Sometimes when I wear an 8.5, I have roughly 1/2" of sole left in front of my big toe which is fine because if I happen to bump into something, there is toe protection. With the size 8, there is room above my big toe, so I am glad I did not size up. The strap on the toe box is slightly tight but not a deal breaker & I consider my feet minimally more than medium in width, some of you will understand what I'm saying. Bottom line, I received these sandals yesterday & I'm wearing them today. There's something to be said about name brand shoes.

First my wide foot perfectly and very comfortable.

I wear nothing but Merrell shoes. But I've yet to find a Merrell sandal that was any good, compared to older sandals like Teva's, that have better straps. The straps on these Merrells are thin and have not enough velcro to get a good fit. There is hardly ANY arch support. Other reviewers who say otherwise are nuts, to me. These feel like strapping on a flat thin sole to your feet. They aren't very comfortable, and are not built to last. Plus, you can't strap them on easily because you have to thread the strap through the tiny thingie almost every time, instead of just slapping velcro on velcro. I love Merrell, I don't know why they just can't get a good, tough sandal made.

I live in these sandals. I buy a pair every 6 months because I am afraid of not having these. They wear pretty well but are not all weather shoes. If they get wet the foot bed gets kinda gross feeling. I keep a pair for rain and bad weather days or for when I work outdoors and a second pair for wearing with a skirt to hit the town. My most recent pair are in the first pic and the lilac was supposed to be an accent color inside the shoe and under the shoe but its clearly beige under shoe. Not a deal breaker because these shoes are that good to override the mistake. The shoes in the second picture are 6 months old and still look good but they will now be my working shoe because the foot bed has gotten kinda icky. They do loosen/stretch a bit with constant wear but they are still hands down the most comfortable and supportive daily sandal on the market. Comfortable from the first time you wear them. Please Merrell never stop making these shoes 🙏

Bought for walking vacation but didn't want to pack runners. These handle cobblestones and uneven ground well. They are very comfortable and foot feels well supported. I have a normal width foot but lean slightly towards wide and they fit great. Also I can go between a 10 and sometimes an 11. The 10 is good. Bought brown sugar, very nice, a mid tan colour and the splash of pomegranate does not detract from the look. Would recommend.

Están muy bonitos y se sentían cómodos al probarlos. La talla está del tamaño correcto pero no se ajusta a personas con empeine alto, que fue mi caso, por lo que tuve que devolverlos.

These are fab sandals. Beautiful fit, good arch support. Took 2 weeks to come but worth the wait.

Comodissime e molto carine, era tempo che cercavo questa combinazione non tanto facile da trovare. Ho la pianta stretta e mi stanno precisi, forse non adatti e chi la la pianta larga.
