The lid of the 3000 Puzzle Snug is jointed and folds on top of itself. This is to make it easier to place the lid back onto the base working board as the 3000 is a very large Puzzle Snug and it means you are not having to line up a very large board - instead you line up one half of it and then flip the other half over to have a perfectly fitting top board. I kept searching for a 2000 piece board and when this one appeared I put one in my basket then got the family to buy it for me for my birthday. Although it was quite expensive I have the one with the cover which has a very strong Velcro border around the edges. The actual board also grips the puzzle pieces securely and is very lightweight.
