GREAT SAW! Very well made and works very well
Excellent! The pole attachments are solid, well made and a great deal. For those not used to using: Grease up both sides of the teeth of the blade with Lithium Grease spray (big box store) before you use it. This removes friction on the blade and it slices like butter. You still have to "saw" but it cuts much better. Be sure to wipe down and spray teeth again AFTER you use it and put back in the sheath. Stand on step stool or 10ft ladder to saw, increases the pressure on the blade. FAR better than a chain saw (which slips, snags, etc). I cut down 6" and 8" limbs diameter on Maple tree no problem! And I am a older woman.

Pole stays firm and blade sharp!
Absolutely excellent. Used this to prune queen palm branches that were house roof height in my yard. Worked very well, and the hook helped me pull them down. Only took a few back and forth movements to cut - the blades were sharp! And the pole stays firm even when fully extended.

Like butter
This bad boy has teeth facing both directions so that it cuts while you’re pushing AND pulling, making easy work of any tree trimming. I’ve cut through a large portion (about 10 inches across) of my Ted when I was too lazy to get my electric saw and it was actually quite easy with this tool. The pole is very sturdy and the parts are easy to assemble and you can buy another one and add the pieces for more reach. In addition to the saw, it has a large hook shape at the end that can grab a branch that didn’t fall or some fruit that may be up there. Comes with a plastic sleeve to cover the blade and the handle has a big comfortable rubber grip. I like it so much I take the blade portion only in hand and use it for other sawing on my small lemon tree that doesn’t even require a long reach. Doesn’t take much effort to cut; you could get away with simply moving it across a branch and requires little pressure to get the job done. The only drawback is that if you change the angle of attack you could bend the blade and the multi-directional teeth could get stuck in the branch. You have to remember to choose an angle that you can stick with so as to avoid bending the blade or getting the teeth stuck.

A Must-Have for Tree Care
In my recent tree trimming efforts around the yard, the HOSKO 10FT Pole Saw has proven to be an indispensable tool. What stands out most about this pole saw is its reach and ease of use. The 10-foot extension allows me to reach high branches without needing a ladder, making it safer and more convenient for pruning tall trees in the garden. The blade is sharp and durable, effortlessly cutting through branches up to a few inches thick with minimal effort on my part. I appreciate the lightweight design of the pole saw, which reduces fatigue during extended use. The handle is comfortable to grip, providing good control and maneuverability while working overhead. It's evident that the design considers user comfort and practicality, which is crucial for DIYers like myself tackling various outdoor projects. One minor drawback I noticed is that the saw blade could get stuck occasionally when cutting thicker branches. This required some adjustments in technique to avoid jams, especially when dealing with hardwoods. However, with a bit of practice, I was able to manage this issue effectively. Overall, the HOSKO 10FT Pole Saw is a game-changer for anyone maintaining trees and shrubs on their property. Its long reach, sharp blade, and ergonomic design make tree trimming safer and more efficient, providing excellent value for both casual gardeners and avid DIY enthusiasts.

Good saw for the money...
I have been staring at dead branches up in my cottonwood trees for years and finally decided to do something about it. Every year I have removed as many dead branches as I could reach using my 6-foot step ladder and a hand saw, but I have not been able to reach anything above 10 or 11 feet. This saw has solved that problem. Rather than spend a hundred dollars (or much more) on a gas or electric chain saw attached to a long pole that I would use infrequently, I found this saw on Amazon for about thirty bucks. It's not mechanized so it does require some effort on the part of the user, but not too much effort. For example, I used it for close to an hour and didn't even break a sweat. It saws easily and makes a nice clean cut. I cut dozens of branches and small limbs up to 6" in diameter that were between 10 and 21 feet above ground - the highest ones requiring the use of my step ladder. The hook at the end of the saw is extremely useful for breaking off brittle branches (no sawing required) and for dislodging cut branches that get hung up in the tree. The saw and its 10-foot pole is very lightweight and quite maneuverable -- I had no absolutely no trouble controlling it, even while standing on the 5th rung of my 6-foot step ladder. Assembly was simple. I had it all together is less than 5 minutes and the blade is not wobbly at all, despite what some reviewers reported. I have to believe that the reviewers who complained about a wobbly blade or the pole coming apart during use didn't put it together correctly. This is the first pole saw I have owned, and I must say that I am very impressed with this one. I cut enough dead wood out of my cottonwood trees in less than an hour to completely fill my full-size pickup truck, and then some. Had I hired a professional tree trimmer, I'm sure I would have been presented with a bill for several hundred dollars. For $30 and an hour of my time, I did the job instead. I think this is good pole saw for the average homeowner, especially considering its low cost compared to other pole saws.

Good buy
Received in good condition, no issue to assemble except that one has to be careful while attaching the blade. The teeth are really sharp. Some reviews mentioned the blade is somewhat flimsy, however, I see that it is quite stable. I want to use it to get fruits and for simple trimming of a tree in our backyard. The hook feature at the end is good to pull down small / thin branches to access fruits without breaking the them. Already used it once and it worked well. I am covering the blade with plastic sleeve (that came with the package) for safety. Overall it is a good buy.

Too much blade flex
It’s sharp, the attachments are easy to connect but it’s not much longer than a regular extension pole and the blade has too much flex

Great Tree Trimming Tool With Value
Perfect tool for my tree trimming. The extended saw feels secure when sawing the branched over my head. The pole saw is sharp and cuts through 2-4 inch tree limbs like butter (although it does require a bit of elbow grease). The saw's curved design works very well and the blades are super sharp. The saw is very portable since I can detach the saw from pole when the extension pole is not needed. The pole is made from metal alloy and provides stable cutting when the saw is used extended. Overall a great value tool that really works.

Strong and very sharp.
Great product, I have used it on big trees and Washingtonian Palm Trees. It did the job expected but make sure you know how to handle it at 10 ft long as it gets harder to handle specially with Washingtonians

Super sharp - cut through hardwood (apple) very easily.
Amazing value. I feel like I abused this saw trimming my apple tree. I was not gentle on this tool. I hacked away and yanked on it many times. I love the bill hook. It works so well for smaller branches and dead stuff. I'm impressed that a cheap tool is so sharp and holds up so well. My only complaint would be that the blade is a bit flimsy/wobbly but maybe this helps it cut through easier being thinner?? I would give this tool more than 5 stars if I could. Great value. It would have cost me hundreds of dollars to have an arborist trim my apple tree.
