No additional sealant is required...I have used them for the past 3 yrs..Never a leak...As always, check to make sure you have a Dana 44 rear.. **Q: what is warranty on these?** A: Not sure about warranty since so many variables... but if your mating surfaces are clean and flat... it will seal. I used in a Dana 27 and 44.
